Cold Rolling Mills

Stainless steel cold-rolled seamless pipes are produced using hot-rolled pickled mother tubes as billets. After pickling and lubrication, the tubes undergo multi-pass precision rolling on cold rolling mills, followed by solution annealing, water quenching, pickling, straightening, and cutting to length, with final non-destructive testing and visual inspection before storage. Compared with the cold drawing process, cold rolling provides more precise control of outside diameter and wall thickness tolerances, and significantly improves surface roughness, achieving higher dimensional accuracy and surface quality. It is especially suitable for the production of seamless pipes with extremely high requirements for precision and surface finish.
