1. The application of stainless steel in aspects of kitchen equipments and dishware.As stainless steel has advanced characteristics like anti-corrosion, heat resistance, anti-abrasion and long service life, easy washing beautiful appearance, etc, it is widely used for enduring consumables like kitchen machines, dinnerware, and kitchen devices, etc. Statistics show, in the 70’s of the twentieth century in Japan, the stainless steel quantity in use for kitchen equipments was up to 30 thousand tons, among these the Cr stainless steel occupies 2/3, 0Cr19Ni9 occupies 1/3, the main type is thin sheet. In the same period in America, the stainless steel used for kitchen and cutters amounted to 76 thousand tons. With the popularization of stainless steel kitchen equipment, the usage of stainless steel will be on the increase continuously. In 1997, China exported nearly 200 thousand tons of stainless steel products, which were mainly kitchen equipments. The steel types for kitchen equipments are 0Cr18Ni9，1Cr17 and Cr13 type stainless steel，and the steel form breed is 0.4-0.8mm thin sheet. 0Cr18Ni9 steel that contains high contents of copper or nickel, e.g. 0Cr18Ni9Cu2 and 0Cr18Ni12 etc. is also used in some deep draw forming metal parts. For the deep draw forming metal parts of kitchen equipments, most of them are equipped with 0Cr18Ni9, and a few use 1Cr17, and for the 1Cr17 with deep draw forming, it must strictly control the finishtogauge temperature of the plate rolling and should add interstage annealing to cold rolling procedure, thus to reduce the wrinkles of deep draw forming process.
