Stainless Steel Hot Rolled Coils (HRC)
1) Overview
Stainless steel hot rolled coils (HRC) are produced from continuous casting slabs by reheating, hot rolling, annealing, and pickling.
They feature wide thickness range, high strength, excellent corrosion resistance, and good formability. HRC is a key feedstock for plates, cold rolled coils, pipes, profiles, and containers, while also directly used in construction, shipbuilding, petrochemical, energy, and machinery manufacturing.
2) Manufacturing Process
• Raw material: stainless steel continuous casting slabs
• Reheating: slab heating to rolling temperature
• Hot rolling: roughing + finishing → coiling into HRC
• Heat treatment: annealing / solution annealing (optional)
• Surface finishing: pickling (No.1), shot blasting, leveling
• Slitting & edge trimming: customized supply

• Thickness range: 2.0 – 16 mm (up to 20 mm for special orders)
• Width capacity: up to 2000 mm
• Excellent mechanical properties: high strength, toughness, ductility
