Production Process of Cold Drawn Stainless Steel Wire
    1.Raw Material Preparation
    •Hot rolled stainless steel wire rods are selected as raw materials.
    2.Surface Treatment (Pickling or Peeling)
    •Oxide scale and surface impurities are removed by acid pickling or mechanical peeling to ensure a clean surface.
    3.Lubrication Coating
    •The wire surface is coated with a phosphate layer, lime, or other lubricants to reduce drawing friction and extend die life.
    4.Cold Drawing (Multi-pass Drawing)
    •The wire is drawn through a series of drawing dies, gradually reducing its diameter and improving dimensional accuracy and mechanical properties.
    •Reduction per pass is strictly controlled to avoid cracking.
    5.Intermediate Annealing (if required)
    •After several passes, annealing may be carried out to restore ductility and improve workability.
    6.Finish Drawing
    •Final drawing passes are performed to achieve the required diameter and surface quality.
    7.Heat Treatment (Solution or Aging, depending on grade and application)
    •Depending on the steel grade and end use, solution annealing or aging treatment may be applied to enhance corrosion resistance or strength.
    8.Surface Finishing (Pickling or Polishing)
    •The finished wire is subjected to pickling or mechanical polishing to improve surface brightness and cleanliness.
    9.Coiling
    •Finished wires are coiled into bundles, ensuring proper coil shape and handling.
    10.Inspection and Packing
    •Dimensional accuracy, surface quality, and mechanical properties are tested.
    •Bundles are packed with anti-rust and moisture-proof protection for transportation and storage.
